The most similar 11v11 formations to this one would be the 1-4-2-3-1 and the 1-4-1-4-1 (made popular by Pep Guardiola, coach of Manchester City Football Club – a team at the top-flight level in England). The formation is built for teams that have an abundance of talent in attacking positions on the pitch.
